About:
Two Great Guitars - Bo Diddley & Chuck Berry is a studio album by Bo Diddley & Chuck Berry,
which was released in August 1964 by Checker Records, and is now considered to be one of
rock music's earliest "super session" albums.
Both men were friends and Chess Records
labelmates and the album consists of two lengthy and spontaneous instrumental jams plus
a couple of recently-recorded instrumentals by the two guitarslingers. The album cover features
a Gibson ES-335 owned by Chuck and a guitar that was created by Bo, himself.
